VARARL - These are signed periodical articles pertaining to Varese or his
      music.

VARBOK - These are books specific to Varese.
VARBOM - These are general music books that refer to Varese.
VARCMP - This is the works list.
VARDIS - These are dissertations, and unpublished papers pertaining to
     Varese or his music.
VARDSC - This is the discography.  Due to the limited number of recordings
     available, any citation found was included, even if it came from a
     questionable source, with incomplete information.

VARNSP - These are unsigned periodical articles.  They include obituaries,
     and mentions in editorials, and other regular features.
VARREF - This includes major Dictionaries and encyclopedias, and books
     specifically about Varese.
VARUPB - These are unpublished writings.
VARWRI - These are published articles actually written by Varese.
