Vladimir Ussachevsky - note on files This research applies to Luenning and Babbit. The project that the following files pertain to concerns electronic music in the United States between 1952 and 1961, specifically Tape Music and the people responsible for its creation: Vladimir Ussachevsky, Otto Luening, and Milton Babbitt. The Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center and its role in early electronic music is also examined. The subject of electronic music has been divided into twenty (20) sub- sections to allow for more accurate file searching.
