Charles Ives - notes on the files

IVEDIS - dissertations and theses. Selective through 1985 but fairly 
complete for 1986-1996. During that period the number of registered 
dissertations was around 26! - many more than for any other American 
composer.

IVEBIB was the selected bibliography used for "current Ives topics."

IVEWRI (Ives' writings) is based upon various listings but is probably
incomplete.

IVEBOG - general (non-music) books - selective up to 1993.

IVEBOK (books on Ives) is as current as possible; 14 entries since 1992.

IVEBOM - music theory and history books, selective, through 8/96

IVENSP - newspaper articles, highly selective, thru 1993.

IVEUPB (unpublished papers) is selective and incomplete; thru '88.

IVEARL (periodical articles) comes from the bibliography in Perry: Charles 
Ives and the American Mind, 1974.  A few newer articles have been added
but It needs work to bring it up to the present.

IVEDSC - just beginning, only two entries. - lots of discogs on the net.
