Holland-Dozier-Holland and MOTOWN RECORDS - note on files

Many of the facts pertaining to Berry Gordy, Jr. and Motown Records have
only recently surfaced, since Gordy himself refused to let the press
interview him on issues pertaining to the intricate workings of Hitsville,
USA; and, during the last twenty-five years, the rumors and scandals that
contributed to the decline of Motown records.  The following files have
been compiled in the research of Gordy, Motown Records, and the
contributions of Brian and Eddie Holland and Lamont Dozier:

HDHDSC: A discography of singles written for Motown artists by the
Holland-Dozier-Holland team.
HDHBOM: Books which not only covered Motown Records, but also dealt with
the history of American popular music, and specifically rhythm and blues
in the United States.
HDHARL: A listing of periodicals dealing with Motown Records and its
artists.
