GOUARL-- articles on Gould

I found quite a few articles about Morton Gould (most of them

from the Music Index).  Many of the articles were about Gould's music;

however, since Gould is involved in many different musical activities

(beyond composition) many of the articles reflect these involvements

(ie. ASCAP).



GOUNSP--newspaper articles



GOUDIS--Gould Dissertations, theses, etc.

There were quite a few unpublisehd items concerning Morton Gould's

music (particularly his band music).  Most of these were located from

references to Dissertation Abstracts in the Music Index.



GOUCMP--Gould's compositions

Gould is a very prolific composer, and I am sure that this list is

lackingİİespecially since I could not locate a complete works list.

I am quite positive that there are several band compositions missing

as well as some transcriptions for both orchestra and band.



GOUWRI--Gould's writings

Gould has written many scholarly articles (many dealing with music

education and band).  Most of these were found in the Music Index.



GOUDSC - There are many recordings of Gould's music.  This file contains

recordings found through an OCLC search and other discographies of

Gould's music.

This file contains biographical events arranged chronologically.
